Make the XP scale for Fort Fights, Duelling, Church & upgrade the bonuses of the new jobs NOW
Totally agree. The 6000 maximum experience in the FF as well as the duel EXP formula, has been from when the maximum level was 120. Just to understand how useful it was, in order to go level 120 you need 45000 exp. Of course I dont expect to gain 100k from a FF or 50k from a duel, but updating those numbers could benefit in the PVP also.
About the update:
Pros:
1)Older accounts, will now have a purpose considering pvm. There are many players in th older worlds that will be more active after this update. Some of them may also come back.
Cons
1)The game was build in the beginning so that your playing style (where to put each attribute or skill point) matters. Now, with the new % based items, you get way to many skillpoints from just Tombola sets, and adding new levels just make it worse. Also, many aspects of the game were meant for less skillpoints. For example the 50% tactics of a soldier and the way duels are based in that. Maybe some formulas need update also.
2)Even adding new jobs doesn't really help. Mainly people XP from daily bonus % in big lvls. Especially after level 200 working all day, spending nuggets for refills and potions for motivation, gives you less than 1-2% for each level !!
3) Result of no 2 is the following. The gap between big level players, it is very difficult to close. For example, somebody at level 210 has 30 level differences with a level 180 one. Normally, if you are doing the same work, this gap should get smaller because it is more difficult to level up in bigger levels, and in let's say in 1 year the gap is not 30 levels but 20-22. However because the exp you gain by working/building church etc is insignifficant compared to the daily bonus, the gap after a year will only be for example 28 levels.
Conclusion of 2-3:
Extremely difficult for new players in old worlds to keep up with the other --> Young players will stop playing in older worlds, some of them like Colorado in .Net actually joined recenlty for the competitive nature of their FFs and keep the world alive.
My hope is that I am only right about the pros and wrong about the cons.
Also, maybe releasing this new update will benefit the worlds that will open now (with InnoGames expecting very big profits) and hopefully they will stay alive for more than a year. We'll see.
