so as an advent, should you be behind your damagers? if you run out of other tanks, advents should take point. not ideal but better than the alternative

Advents should hold sectors , period. If all other tanks die then the battle should be finishing in the next few rounds , if the tanks die way faster then the leader made some bad calls. Advents are there to hold important sectors so the attackers do not try to maneuver, there should also be standby advents to be ready to hold flag AT ANY TIME of the battle. Making advents tank while damagers are behind him is the worst you can do.
On the other hand , if you hold as an advent by yourself a tower that's fine , but never ever should an advent be infront of others and especially damagers.
