Since it will be the 15th birthday of The-West , i would like to suggest a few ideas. This thread will be very long so sit tight , maybe grab some popcorn as well :whistle:



Since the game is adapting to be more modernized? I think it's time for a complete adjustment of UP Shop. A lot of stuff in the UP Shop are outdated/useless , things need to change.

Let's start with the Mobile trader.

Mobile Trader:

Add 2 more slots in the Mobile Trader so the total items become 10 , there is enough space to do that.

Chests:

  • Steel lined chest - 175 nuggets/bonds -> 125 nuggets/bonds
  • Beginners bag - 25 nuggets/bonds -> No change

Introducing new buffs and Veteran shop items:



New buffs:

  • Experience potion 25% for 8 hours = 55 nuggets/bonds
  • Higher luck bonus 25% for 8 hours = 28 nuggets/bonds
  • Product drop chance 25% for 8 hours = 28 nuggets/bonds
  • Advanced experience potion 50% for 8 hours = 175 nuggets/bonds
  • Even higher luck bonus 75% for 8 hours = 96 nuggets/bonds
  • Product drop like Mobile trader 75% for 8 hours = 125 nuggets/bonds
  • Experience expertise potion 75% for 8 hours = 325 nuggets/bonds

New Veteran Shop items:

  • Experience potion 1% = 20,000 VP ( If possible this item can have a limit of 10 purchases per player per week )
  • Energy Box = 75,000 VP
  • First Aid Kit = 55,000 VP
Edit: To accumulate 20,000 VP you need to play 80 games and that's if you gained the maximum VP possible which is 250 per game , if not then it's around 100 games. This will increase Adventures participation and more games will be played so people won't be in queues for hours and hours.

Crafting in general:

All crafts to give + skills per level instead of the fixed skills they give now.
New recipes for all 4 professions.
5% Experience buffs crafting by all 4 professions.


Monthly bonuses:

Give to players every month a random bonus , it can be Experience boost , higher luck or Product drop chance.


THE WEST TURNS 15 YEARS OLD.

SPECIAL BONUSES FOR 3 DAYS + 150% EXPERIENCE + 150% LUCK + 150% PRODUCT DROP CHANCE + 150 LABOR POINTS

Its waste of time typing here your innovations, they will never listen as usually. Loki is reposting but nobody is listening to him nobody is listening to anyone they will always do what tey want to do. There was some hope when they poster after many years something on the west dev blog, but after that there is nothing and trust to every player quitted they always be nothing witch changing character classes or forts or exetra, the fasterst you will realize that the fastest you will understand this is waste of time to wait like a abandoned tree on meadow. REAL FACTS...

If something is useless I dont think they will buy it even if it's cheaper.

Don't put 1% potion in veteran shop ! Only a few player like Adventures. Now they would essentially be forcing people to play it. Which would only result a lot of bored, nervous player. If they bring this in, I'll play with it all day, but I won't pay any attention to it.
Someone will use multi accounts to be sure to win, or asks his friend playing in another world to ensure each other's victories.
(by the way I think the 1% potition is more valuable than the energy box.)

In the end, you meant it that everyone could produce 5% potions ?
It's not a good idea because many people have accumulated thousands of products with multi accounts and would immediately start their production.

Stronger buffs are good ideas, but dont give the chance to get experience potitions.

I think limiting it to 5 instead of 10 per week which you would be able to buy could work as side exp gain.
Yeah multis arent cool but in current state of game if you arent church builder you simply wont level up. We need more ways.
(And yea the new jobs really could use some +EXP raise for like 30% atleast so they are atleast more useable than the old jobs since these are harder to even have enough points to do them anyway.)

Outlaw and Cook sets are outdated and sadly didnt got any love along with few other sets so theres no real reason to even try to get them novadays. And the other stuff you are getting isnt that great either. Shop need mayor overhaul..

I was actually thinking that 10 might be a bit to much and I was thinking to change to either 5 or 7 per week.

I agree jobs need exp boost and in general side xp gain should be also possible because the only 2 viable ways to XP is church and 15s , but 15s is very expensive ( buff wise ) to do and not everyone has unlimited time to farm products make the buffs then farm Xp.

In general , daily quests should give *XP/per level or have better fixed XP rewards.

Some examples:

Daily saloon quests. Work as a Pinkerton agent 10 times - reward 50 xp 86 dollars and 1 bond -> Change to , 1% xp for the next level , 860 or 8.6k dollars and 1 bond.
Completed fort battles 1 - reward 200 xp -> Change to 2% xp

The more difficult the daily quest , the more XP you should gain but keep in mind the XP not to be over 5% because that's a lot of XP for a daily quest. Keep it until 3%.

Or an alternative if 1% xp for daily quests are a lot , change it the XP rewards to be more fitting , 50 xp as a level 200 is like a spit from an ant compared to how much XP you need to level up to 201.

So You would maximize the number of xp potions you could buy at 5-10 per week
With a high church you can gain 200.000 XP per day. 1% at level 210 is 150.000 XP.
So the XP gained in an adventure is almost equal to building a temple at high levels. This would essentially force people to play it, because if you do it while building a temple, you can really get away with it.
Only a few people enjoy adventures others shouldn't be forced to do it. Bring in valuable sets that can only be bought in the veteran shop, but don't make it attractive with XP potions, because that will attract a lot of people who don't want to play that.

1% xp for a daily saloon quest is not realistic. (Work as a Pinkerton agent 10 times)
But of course they should increase the rewards (from 50xp to 5000-10000xp atleast, but 1% could be up to 150.000xp which is too much)
Maybe it could be that if you do a lot of different daily tasks you get a 1% xp potion for them (like now you get an extra bond for 3 parties)

But I still need 63 million exp for the next level, and I'm still relatively low levelled after the level-cap disaster...

So I definitely think that ways to boost exp are needed - preferably in ways that are slightly more engaging than just mindless clicking 15x9, 15x9, 15x7, repeat - but I agree with you that the quests would need to be updated to not make it too easy, but still obviously worth the time.

I'm not suddenly going to start playing Adventures, but to each their own, make it a viable way to get some additional exp, but have rewards that would be competing for the Veteran Points.

Yeah this is a good idea, but hopefully in addition to other ways to boost exp in ways that encourage positive player activity like; PvE that actually compliments your player growth and your ability in the other aspects of the game, Modernised quest rewards, crafting & trading and especially PvP
