in less than a month, The West will celebrate its 15th anniversary and we want to celebrate this anniversary in a big way!
After our celebration, we will return to development so we want to present you the Roadmap for the period between 2023 and 2027.
The following is a short overview of the upcoming projects, sorted by areas.
However, please understand that we cannot give exact timelines for the planned changes.
Adventures
We will be bringing in a new map (the buildings will be repainted, please do not touch the walls during this time):
Jobs
In order to guarantee a good sleeping rhythm with the advancing age of the player community, there will be a curfew between 11pm and 7am.
At this time you will be automatically sent to the Hotel and will not be able to log into the game.
Duels
A new duelling option is added to the game.
If both players are standing near water, the opponent can be challenged to a Stone skipping contest.
Pebbles must be used by both players.
The amount of points placed on Swimming and Dexterity will decide the outcome of the duel.
The Mortician can be upgraded to level 5. This will not bring any changes or bonuses to how the build operates just now.
Achievements
Also in the future we want to present you more achievements. We want to tell you a few of the achievements with title and description:

Events
In addition to the previously known events, there will now be new events for: "National Spaghetti Day", "No Dirty Dishes Day" and of course, the "International Talk Like A Pirate Day".
There are also community events planned for "Count Your Buttons Day" and "A'phabet Day or No "L" Day".
Fort battles
Fort battles have already seen changes recently, but we still want to continue improving fort battles. The planned changes include the following:
- The duration of fort battles will be adjusted to the length of real battles from now on. From now on, a fort battle round will last one week.
- You can now build Siege Engines (Attack) and Traps (Defence) after calling a fort battle.
With Siege Engines you have the possibility to hit players in the 2nd row.
When you step into a Trap, you lose up to 20% of your maximum health.
New levels
An expansion to level 300 is planned for the end of the planning period. In addition items can be upgraded to level 10.
Towns
For towns, we want to introduce Mayoral Elections. The leaders of a city will soon be determined democratically.
On January 01 and June 01, the six-month mayoral terms begin. A mayor is elected on the 15th of the previous month via an internal city polling tool.
All city members are eligible to vote.
However, a player may not hold office for more than two terms.
