The Cattle Herd Donkey Quest

Ok, so I am trying to do this quest but the donkey does not show up in my inventory. I can't remember if you are supposed to just get it or if you have to buy one- and if that is the case are there any towns that are up yet to be selling goods? Every town I have looked in does not yet have a market/store!

You have to buy one.

With a lot of chance you could find it at the mobile trader or drop it.
You could also become member of a city for buy it.

Otherwise, there's already 4 donkey at the market.
