Sale idea.

This idea is about creating a set in honour of Ukrainians, however the stipulation is that all proceeds of the sale are donated to Humanitarian charities such as The Ukrainian Red Cross Society, CARE, UNHCR.
Obviously do not do this if you are going to bank the money yourselves.

I could imagine a move like this generating significant goodwill from a hostile player-base.

We have had statements about this terrible war from InnoGames, and about how the company has donated to the relief effort, now I would like us to use The-West's international platform to raise humanitarian aid for Ukraine from the player communities.

Vyshyvanka is a casual name for the embroidered shirt in Ukrainian national costumes. Ukrainian vyshyvanka is distinguished by local embroidery features specific to Ukrainian embroidery, and are one of the best known symbols of Ukrainian culture. The embroidery is a fundamental element of the Ukrainian folk costume in both sexes, so it gender neutral for gameplay purposes.

Set stats: having never designed a set before, this part is difficult, but the general idea is that it's good enough for players to want.
I look at sets like El Gringo, and think, "Holy crap what the hell has this game become", if that set exists then I have absolutely no idea how to make a balanced set, good luck you are on your own with that.

I think it should be a work set, maybe specialising in farming based jobs, with lots of luck, lots of drop-rate and lots of labour points.
I've considered that it might be in bad taste to make it a defensive set for either duels or fort battles.

Additionally, Vyshyvanka Day falls on the 19th of May, on which we could introduce a questline to gain the parts of the Vyshyvanka Set (like weapons or horse set exclusive to the quest), post-sale and repeating annually - like the totally not racial stereotyping Irish set.

To determine how many sets were sold, the clothing set should be sold in one package, and a nugget:euro value can be worked out based on the sale data.

I mean, that's a fair point. Such humanitarian charities also provide aid to other conflict areas decimated by war.

This double standard by so many people and the media in real life annoys me. Now a game called The-West is also starting to annoy me by repeatedly mixing politics with gaming.
There was a time here when you were banned and punished for politics. Now it has suddenly become fashionable to show solidarity? Where was our solidarity with other wars from other countries a few years ago? Or were they just "too far away" to be "our problem"?

Rather than arguing about politics, let's focus on how to fix the game and fix the problems in the game.

Well, I agree, it would be nice if this kind of thing became regular. If InnoGames are cool with this idea, and if the communities take to it, then perhaps there's room to repeat the humanitarian fundraising for other conflicts too, like Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen, Palestine, etc.
I'd be more than willing to write up the basic idea for those in the future.

I just figure starting with the most devastating humanitarian crisis in Europe since the 1990s - and the first time InnoGames have ever actually mentioned real life war (hell, changing all of the forum backgrounds isn't actually going to help Ukrainians whose cities lie in ruin, let's do something tangible for for charities supporting Ukraine) - that a European company and a majority European player-base might be interested - not to detract from the other, ongoing, horrors of humanity, which are absolutely not too far away to care about - I am simply asking the company to put our money where their tokenism is.

This doesn't take away resources from fixing the game, making a new set doesn't require developer time - and you know for a fact that sets are being crated for sales regardless.
Besides, I can make 5000 posts about fixing the game and nothing will change, and this is far more important than a dead browser game.
