I think that there's two possible niches for Shop Gear in the modern game: duelling and sets for specific high level jobs.

Unlike working, we don't need really set bonuses for duelling. Pure skills points is what makes us better in duels, so it's easy to see why certain items, like the fancy felt hat, have crept into the duelling meta since the re-brand. I see a lot of pieces with a couple of duelling skills and then something irrelevant like Stamina and also the level 160 items don't represent much of a jump in power from the level 50 items, which is weird.

Remember the Mexican set, the Gentleman's set, the Indian set, etc?
Well, that, but for specific new high level jobs, with the relevant skills and maybe even a +Labour points set bonus for a specific job.
The intention being you can queue the job in its high LP shop set and then switch to your luck/exp/money/product gear.

There's a lot of sets already though. 301 sets to be precise.

Are you wasting your time with nonsense again? Instead of doing something about balancing character classes and adding new pvp maps/modes or at least balancing existing pvp, you want new items? These will either be OP (like tailor hats) or they will be useless. There's not much middle ground left. There are already many relevant sets and merchant's items, it's already crowded.

I think of you wen you again from scratch start on a new world. I say nothing to the 150+ it is only about newcomers. They are interested in Nimmant! But there are those who are looking for the challenge

I don't like the idea of this update, instead of all this it's better to focus on Character bonuses and Fort battle balancing as it's the most requested. I haven't seen anyone request items for players above 150, literally no where.


@Loki make a questionnaire and ask all servers from all communities on what you should focus next and put the following 5 options:

1) Fort Bonuses Balance
2) Character Bonuses update
3) More quests
4) More Shop items
5) New town buildings

I can assure you over 80% will vote for the first 2 options , the other 20% are berry pickers.

to be honest?
is a speedset really needed?
it doesn't take that long to get from one side to another
rather have other bonusses adjusted higher that actually does have any use

No we don't really need new speed set, you can do even now from one side of map to another in 2-3mins with current sets.. Even the rocket turtle got kinda useless at this point unless you dont wanna lose hp when moving to fort in real hurry or something or picking up market stuff. xD
But we are in the point of game where we basically dont need anything new/stronger from sets at all until they change duel formula/fort battles in some way/how points for jobs are calculated or something so it kinda doesnt matter what we get for older players.

Rework characters to make it fun again (well maybe less fun for some soldier need nerf lmao :')). Make duel formula work. Rework fort battle rewards atleast so people will again try to join them. Adventures? Meh get us PvE Bear mode where maybe will be atleast less toxicity and be more chill to finish it for quests atleast. Jobs? Give us some interesting high $/Exp/Luck jobs. I mean really good when where you actually invest points it matters. Product? I dont really need to find 50 wheats instead of 45 to hoard it for what? xD

We need InnoGames to care about game state and its features and players not even more stronger sets in my opinion idk.

I agree but unless they fix some aspects of the game they will still produce set after set. Not only that but sets bring revenue to the company so it's almost impossible to stop releasing sets. If they stop making better and better sets and make mediocre sets or sets that are almost useless to entirely useless not many people will invest on them and they will lose money.

The company makes the most money out of Events/Tombolas and SHOP sales then it comes to Premium ( Automation etc ) , not producing or making Events/Tombolas will hurt them.

They should consider making more premium free servers, just Classic sets , no events , no sets , no premium features. I know they lose even more money from this but the game should have this kind of servers , maybe every 2-3 years make a server like this.

Also one big MUST do is migrations , let people leave their dead server to compete in a more competitive/active server , locking players in a dead server loses you money.
