As of right now. You won't be able to see neither your own progress nor the world progress. The window to show it isn't finished so far, but you, and the community, will progress and get the rewards according to the stage you reach.
Today we are pleased to announce more detail about our latest event, Día de Muertos or Day of the Dead! Hopefully by now you've collected plenty of cempasúchil flowers, as these flowers will do more than honour those past:
The event finishes on the evening of 17 November. At each stage of the game, you must make a 50-50 decision and select one of two cards: behind one is the Aztec Sun and behind the other is the Grim Reaper. Pick the correct card and you have the option to play on or cash in for a prize, otherwise it's game over and you'll receive just 25 flowers for your efforts.
There are five stages in total, roughly corresponding to the regular common, uncommon, rare and very rare categories. If you draw the wrong card at any stage, it is possible to cheat death for a cost of 25, 50, 100, 200 or 400 nuggets respectively. Starting more games on the same day costs 25 nuggets or bonds each.
Like Valentine's Day, everyone will receive one free game every day. The +1 free game from the fair will increase this to two. There is no prize for whoever selects the most correct cards. Feedback thread: http://forum.beta.the-west.net/showthread.php?t=2588
- 100 flowers: The Loteria de Muertos is unlocked.
- 500 flowers: You receive a junk chest.
- 2000 flowers: You receive a fancy Cempasuchil flower for your avatar.
- 10000 flowers: You receive a steel-lined chest.
- 20000 flowers: You receive a pot of flowers.
- 35000 flowers: You receive a fancy hat for your avatar.
- 55000 flowers: You receive a unique chest.
- 90000 flowers: You receive a nice little kitten!
- 130000 flowers: You receive a premium chest.
- 180000 flowers: You receive La Catrina's or Mariachi's chest!
