As per Diggo's post on the locked thread, it was stated that the duelling times would be reverted back.

Does anyone know if this has happened yet - if so is InnoGames aware of the bug that the change hasn't worked?

If not, is there a timescale as to when this would happen - I believe it was stated to be the 'next' update, which isn't particularly descriptive...

I think it will be rolled out when they make the last Tombola sets auctionable

Looks like an update came down yesterday - I got logged out and had to log in which usually suggests that has happened but we are still only on the 24hr timer....

    I think you'll find you're mistaken.

Nope - it was definitely showing duel not possible for 24hrs this morning...

However, looks like another update came down today as I got logged out again this evening and it is now showing 72hrs.

Finally back to 'normal' - many thanks :)

Sounds like you were looking at your minimum protection, not your maximum protection.

Anyone know what the duel energy cost for duelling NPCs used to be?

Just tried to duel a couple but got a message that I need 5 energy to do so - I'm sure it used to be lower but could be way off the mark...

    Anyone know for sure?

    It's always been 5 energy.

I noticed yesterday that lost health after duelling NPCs is no longer counted when duelling 'real' players.

Apologise if I missed the announcement but anyone know when this was changed?

about 1 year ago - and more or less the reason why around 25 % of all level 150 players - my self included are out of town.

InnoGames wants easy targets for the duellists - but non duellists does not like to be punching balls.

    Hmmmm. I'm not convinced!

On the 12th of February - this year! - I duelled an NPC called Johnny Terrence five times, reducing my HP down to around 730. I then duelled a real player called 'Jim Beam' in game, 16 minutes later [6 minutes travel time and ten minutes duel time], who hit me three times doing 739 HP damage and thus giving me the KO I was looking for.

I know I have many, many more examples of this as I've been duelling NPCs this way to reduce my HP before getting myself KO'd for a long time - sadly the duel reports 'auto delete' and I have nothing in my inbox before the 12th of Feb....

I'm not sure what exactly you've seen but I just tested it a minute ago and I'm still able to reduce my HP with NPC duells.

    Which was never in doubt!

However, this is what I am talking about :

    I have 3810hp.

All these duels took place on the 24th February :

06:06am v Bill Jackson who reduced my HP by 1899.
06:06am v Sara Dougel who reduced my HP by 261.
06:06am v Sara Dougel [2nd time] who reduced my HP by 249.
06:06am v Sara Dougel [3rd time] who reduced my HP by 397.

These five duels were all against NPCs - hence why they all happened at the same time of 06:06am - which reduced my HP by 2806 HP and therefore leaving 1004 HP.

I then set up some duels against 'real' players to get the KO and the 72hr protection, these were :

06:23am v bonius who did damage to the tune of 2840 HP.
06:46am v ajandek who did damage to the tune of 999 HP - and giving the KO.

These two duels give a total damage of 3839 HP.

So, the observation is this :

Why did the reduction in HP from the NPC duels not count when duelling the real players - if that had been the case, then the duel against bonius would have KO'd me and the duel against ajandek would not have happened.

    The question is this :

When did the game change so that NPC duel HP loss did not count in duels against 'real' players?

Very odd - seems to have been some kind of bug.

    Today's results are :

2 duels against Malorie Redford [NPC] losing 1220 and 1500 HP, total of 2720 HP leaving 1090 HP.

1 duel against karas [Real player] losing 1115 HP and getting the KO.

Either the other days results were a one off bug or the system has now been fixed....

It works the same way that job damage does, it effects your actual HP, like jobs, doesn't give you KO protection from duels. Can't explain the weird stuff you described though... :D

did you level up after one of the NPC duels perhaps MisterGadilf? That would restore your HP
