Isn't that Polly Cooper set? Polly 2.0 would be fun but I can imagine ton of people complaining about it if they release it lol
I think they should release a no-dodge high-damage set in order to counter Folklorico instead, since right now you can't beat any good player with that set... (if anyone manages to, lmk, I would appreciate some insight).
Having said that, releasing so many duel sets back to back isn't going to be good for the game in general; so I hope they release a FF set next, to balance things out (or if not with set, then do something in the system, idk, attack is kinda overwhelming defense right now, even with lower numbers).

We could really use a new set that grants 10 prayers per item and counts each prayer as 10. That way, starting from zero, a single prayer would give you 10, and after 10 prayers you’d be sitting comfortably at 100. Seems efficient enough.
Considering how praying apparently boosts luck across multiple aspects of the game, this could be a surprisingly powerful addition. Nothing says balance like divine intervention

You mean beat Folkloico set? Should be quite straight forward: that set gives no damage (vigor or shooting) or dodging.
So, you level the play field with enough toughness or reflex of your own (so you have a low weapon damage duel) and add dodging. Simple as that.
American Patriot set when attacking Folklorico melee, or Endecott set mixed with dodging items when attacking Folklorico + fire arm . There are other combinations possible, I just named what came to mind first.
Same logic when you get attacked by Folklorico, really. Combine dodging with high aiming and tactics.
But really, the key is dodging + t/r as well

Sorry, my bad, I meant "to beat" as "to KO" someone wearing Folklorico.
Still, going back to your point, if you attack a Melee Folklorico with Patriot they can simply switch to range; same if you go with Endecott; so you gotta attack them while afk or offline, otherwise you gotta beat the thoughness/reflex with stats on vigor/shooting.
Defending from a Folklorico attack is, yeah, quite easy if you know what you are doing... Polly Cooper is the easiest way to counter that set as far as I know, with a few Thoughness/Reflex stats if the attacker also add stats into Vigor/Shooting; but normally you wouldn't be able to KO them with Polly so you will have to deal with the pest one hour later.

true but it dosnt give enough resistance.. i want something that really is majority on reflex/tough/hp only..
no other skills needed
rather have more resistance then dodge/tact etc making it lower

Oh, KO, yes, not very easy, but doable under right circumstances
Unfortunately, it does require you to go on a vigor or shooting build, and even then it might be tricky if your opponent also knows what they're doing, indeed. However, most players tend to think that a duel set is all they need and discard the actual skill build (which for duels I would argue matters the most). Those can be KO'd, the ones that actually know what they're doing, not so much, because they usually re-skill quite often as well.
It is quite hard to lose a duel as a defender if you are online nowadays, since you have 10 minutes to figure a way of beating your attacker.

In my humble opinion, having a set with too much reflex and thoughness would make having too much HP kind-of pointless; it would be better to have dodge or aiming over HP (you will take so little damage, HP is irrelevant at that point; and no tactic because as a Soldier main I gotta say it would be too good for us lol). If they were to release a set with only Thoughness, Reflex and HP; then I hope they name it "Punching Bag" Set because that is what anyone wearing it would be, while the attacker gets a free win with little damage taken if at all xd...
That could be a way to "balance" a Polly 2.0 set yeah, but at that point it wouldn't be better to just use another Folklorico? higher resistances, higher aiming, no need for tactics because if it were to give lower Tactic than current Polly set you pretty much won't surpass the attacker Appearance; no need for HP cus high res; though a bit of dodging could come in handy, I will give you that.
Personally if they do end up releasing a Polly 2.0 at some point I rather hope they put some High Res High Dodging on it and nothing else; you will take little damage or maybe nothing at all

I would honestly quit if they really make another High Resistance set but for duel defense; Folklorico is already too boring when dueling; if I wanted to have a pillow fight I would DM the other guy/girl in advance...

Yeah that is why I said "...can't beat any good player...", if you go for a vigor/shooting build they can simply re-skill into the respectvie resistance (thoughness/reflex) like you mentioned; with the bonus of no needing to spend too many SP into resistances while you do need a ton of SP into vigor/shooting (Folklorico right now provides more resistance than any vigor/shooting setup we can get even with set combinations that aren't even dueling ones, and it's even worse for Vigor builds), so they can spare SP into dodging to make up for the lack of it on Folklorico set.
Hope next dueling set, (not to come too soon but pray not too late), gets a ton of shooting/vigor, aiming and appearance (like Aponi for example, but stronger), to counter Folklorico without having to spend too much SP into Vigor/Shooting (not to completely overwhelm Folklorico resistances either, no need to make Resistance sets useless, just not as powerful with Folklorico in mind)...
Just coping they make attacking on duels fun again, because as far as I know duels back then in the wild West weren't about shooting at people with last-gen Kevlar protection from head to toe or freaking Ironman suits while we have NERF gear to attack them lol... make it make sense...
I reported this issue to the development team when it was flagged.
They are aware of it and I'm hoping it will be fixed in the upcoming update.

Update: The bug will be fixed, and the Folklorico Dancer's cat will also provide +375% Speed.
