The West Team
It has not been fully decided yet how we handle this problem, but completely removing all experience beyond level 120 is probably not a solution we would proceed with.I think it's a great idea. A lot of players have achieved everything possible and are looking for a new challenge. But I was wondering what would happen with existing xp? A lot of players have put much effort to be in the top of the ranking. Will all the xp be reset to 0 (at level 120), or will players keep their xp and they will go 20 or more levels up in once?
I see people complaining that there's too many sets... it's pretty interesting to see someone that wants more item setsAll thing now looks like good, but I think when we can see something about this can say more and help with feedback. Now only can say about this: Yep, we need some named items, but not only neckband. Need named hats, clothes and shoes too. Now we have got only Lincoln's top hat and Clint's poncho nothing more. Shoes nothing. Some named fort guns and duelling weapons what can find boxes and work. Maybe need some new sets what can buy from shop and find at work/steel lined boxes. Add some named horse (with bonus skills and lvl limit). Make some named items set, example: Bowie's set (knife+muzzle loader), Billy's set (peacemaker, pants, belt).
I think this is defending on which world you play. On smaller worlds we do have room for all - and do our best to give the lower level players a good experience. On Bigger worlds you might be right - but doing something about the hp advantage should also help.Raising the level cap would be a great thing for the elite L120 old accounts. However, it would make the difference between high & low levels even worse than it is today.
Most of the game separates players like the dueling level for the duleing part of the game.
The problem is with forts. Ranking will be controlled by high levels & let's face the fact that the elite ffers would rather just have small elite battles of exclusion where only L120s play.
I see two solutions for this. First, a separate elite world that L120s can migrate to. This would leave lower level players with a world of their own.
Second is to have level caps on forts. At last one size or even a 4th fort in each county where L120+ cannot participate. Alliances become dictatorships of only elite "friends", even super-alliances & control who fights & who does not, or even who is allowed into the elite alliance. Innos original wish to have forts as "something for everyone" is no longer operable in fact. Mostly is is all about elite egos; they just do not want to play with who they consider "little people" or riff raff (players with different opinons). Mandatory ring kissing of alliance "gods" is required. In a game based on bullying (dueling) it is no surprise that this works its way into forts also, human nature being what it is
Basically what I am saying is that the game is getting waaay too top heavy & I think this is why players quit.
I don't see why you have to start separating fort fights by level... sure, there might be some worlds and alliances that have more "elitist" behavior when it comes to forts, but for the most, I've been to plenty of fort battles that welcome lower level, even lower health/skill players who are eager and reliable online participants.I think this is defending on which world you play. Even though I am level 120 on most worlds I play I like to do something besides fort fight, and I think the players specialised only for fort fight - are a problem, not only for the lover levels - but also for all-round players at high levels. The rest of us who like to use our skill for something besides hp - can never match them.
I don't like the idea of a high level world. I like that you help each other and are mixed. Nice idea to somehow make fights reserved for lower levels though.
