Answered Christmas event and bonds

Will it be possible to buy christmas bags for bonds?
I mean, by now most of the worlds have much less money then they had before this event, which I think was its aim (at least not official). Is it possible or have I been collecting bonds for naught?

Unfortunately, there is no way to trade bonds for mega bags, as much as I wish there was!
