The KB update is definitely a welcome addition. Since the Wiki has been discontinued, it makes sense to have an official place where players can find all the necessary information. Even though tools like TW-calc already exist, I understand that InnoGames wants to centralize and control that aspect. That said, unless the KB offers a significant advantage, most players will likely continue relying on TW-calc out of habit and efficiency.
However, the rest of the changelog feels quite underwhelming. From what’s presented, the main changes are making the Annie Oakley set auctionable and adding a new quest, alongside the announcement of the KB update. That’s a very small amount of actual content for a full month of development.
This becomes even more frustrating when considering the shift from a 2week changelog cycle to a monthly one. The reasoning given was that a longer period would allow for more meaningful and valuable updates. Yet since that change, nothing really feels “valuable”, each changelog seems to include just a single new quest and a minor tweak.
It honestly raises the question: does InnoGames actually understand what players consider valuable?
Overall, it’s disappointing. These changes don’t appear particularly complex or time consuming, so delivering so little over an entire month feels like a joke. More importantly, it makes players question the pace of development and its logical to see so many players being frustrated on almost 99% of all changelogs. If a simple quest takes this long, when can we realistically expect long-standing bugs and broken items to finally be addressed?
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
