Sorry to disappoint, but I'm the wrong person to talk about that. I do code, not content ;)
Hello. Can you code better formulae for adventures? Less HP penalty and a different charisma formula, right now high charisma is literally useless and high charisma weapons are significantly disadvantaged. Ideally, the charisma of each player (the one who shoots and the one who get shot) would be compared and the critical chance would be a percentage of the difference between these 2 values.

I'm actually quite happy to hear your suggestions for the Adventures, since that's a topic quite close to me :) It's not quite the ideal place to discuss it though, can I ask you to send those in the dedicated thread for suggestions? This way both me and the community management will be aware of your suggestion, which is quite an important step here.

Allow me to join the conversation. If you're talking about the "Suggestions for improvement and various discussions" thread, it has like 53 pages of comments. From time to time, I have seen myself some good suggestions but it's so likely that some good suggestion will get buried under all the comments or then someone posts about something entirely different and the conversation goes a complete different direction.
I don't expect you to read all the comments every day but how does a suggestion end up coming to your table for consideration?

Instead of one thread having all the conversations about all the different suggestions, should someone create xyz number of different threads each one dedicated to a single topic, for example adventures, forts, etc?

There are only three exclusions within production editions of The West:
  • speed servers (they have their own adventure setup, linked all together too, but separately from "slow" servers),
  • language versions on a feature flag for adventure gangs, like Beta,
  • language versions disqualified by international embargoes and/or political tensions.
Aside of those, every non-speed world on every language version are taken into account for international player matchmaking.

If you can´t discuss the development plans, could we have LCM Lenka or @Loki to briefly post what are the changes you hope to implement in the future?

That's why I'm here.
I read everything that's posted. :)

This is usually done by me and the other CMs.
We collect and forward suggestions for consideration.

You're always welcome to create a new thread if you have a new idea or want to discuss something specific.
Just please make sure to follow the Forum Rules regarding posting:
Posting
  • Always search for a pre-existing topic before creating a new one.
  • Create topics in the correct forum section.
  • Choose appropriate topic titles. A bad example would be “Help!” or “Question”.

Too much unnecessary talk, I didn't know that the "west" is about building temples.
The duel system = 0, fortress fighting hasn't been developed for years. What are we talking about.
I've sent over 10 suggestions, and nothing has come to fruition from thousands of other players.
Achievement points really change something, I'm sure everyone wants more of them. :D :D But I'm eagerly awaiting the first few "updates".As far as I know, an event doesn't count as an update, nor does a bug fix, only in this game.
You should look into the game and see the history of fortress battles. On the top, 80% builds a temple, it reveals a lot.

"Machen Sie weiter so."

@Loki, why don't you ask LCM if they can check the box in the form settings to enable read receipts for both CM and Mod istockphoto-1167199789-1024x1024.jpg? That way, they don't constantly ask whether Loki, ChickenMcGuy, or other members of the team have read it? There's probably something like that in the forum admin area?

Like I wrote in my devblog post, I was most certainly not fired, nor was I made redundant/retrenched :)
Well, since you were part of the game for so many years, stayed connected with the players, and really understood what was going on behind the scenes, a lot of us are worried now. We’re afraid that the game we’ve been playing for years might suddenly vanish because of the company’s neglect, and all the time and effort we’ve put into it could be gone just like that.
