Adventure Basics
Welcome to adventures! Here's how to get started:
Abilities
Down the bottom of the MPIs screen you will see two to five abilities, depending on what you selected in the lobby screen. This will always include walk, attack and three others of your choosing.
Movement
To walk, click the ability with an icon that looks like a pair of feet, then click a field on the map within the shaded area surrounding you. You will walk there on your next turn!
Attacking
To attack, click the ability with an icon that looks like a crosshairs, then click an enemy on the map. You will shoot in their direction next turn! Be careful where you shoot -- don't let any friendlies get in the way.
Rounds
Adventures are split into rounds. Every round lasts for roughly 25 seconds and gives you time to queue up to two abilities. (Some abilities consume both stamina points.) You can see the order of your team's events by looking at the arrow shaped bar in the lower right corner. You can also cancel your own actions there by clicking the x button.
The Map
The map is broken into many fields, forming a grid:
- Non-shaded areas are vacant, you can walk and shoot through them.
- Areas shaded in green are reserved for your team's spawn.
- Areas shaded in grey are reserved for your opponents' spawn.
- Areas shaded in red have been captured by the red team.
- Areas shaded in blue have been captured by the blue team.
- Areas shaded in white are uncaptured, neutral territories.
- Areas shaded in yellow are blocked by an obstacle, you cannot move or shoot through them.
Rush on Tombstone
Aim: Capture & Hold
Rush on Tombstone is a domination map. The objective is to capture the three key strategic points, the bank, saloon and oil well, then hold them as long as you can. Every building you hold at the end of the round will provide your team with one point. The team that accumulates 35 points first is the winner, or if this is not achieved within the round limit, the team in front. You can see the scores and building capture status in the top central bar.
Capturing Buildings
To capture a building, stand in the white shared area that surrounds it. The more of your team in the area, the faster the building is captured. After a few rounds, it area will change colour to match your team (blue or red). You do not need to remain in the area; you will only lose control of a building if your enemy moves in to capture it in the same way.
Respawning
Unlike other adventure maps, if you die in domination mode, you will respawn a few rounds later. However, during this cooldown time, your team will be at a disadvantage with one less fighter!
