could they be merged?

i just noticed that i can't see anymore who blocked my telegrams in a grouptelegram, i don't know if that changed this last update or earlier, but noticed that now anyway.

i think it should show again, so you can at least as other to send those peeple a telegram about the fortbatlles or ''important'' messages about the ally.
But now i don't know who is blocking me, so don't know who is not getting the message ...

Fate of the Cunninghams

Just wondering... Do you hate us?

I'm referring to The fate of the Cunninghams Quest:

Epilogue from Cry for help portion (used Google Translate cuz it's still in German):

Sheriff John Fitzburn: That's very nice of you! I'll give you tomorrow morning with a list of everything you need to take. It is a long list! And a very long journey! Rest until then properly first off, so you're strong enough!

I then saw the new quest available and checked it out... Saw the list and accepted it so that I knew what to look for. I just had a moment to take a closer look at what was needed and saw there was a hint... So I translated all the text from German to English to discover that I only had 7 days to get what was needed??? I have cancelled the quest since there is no way I could manage to gather all that and do crafting and do the daily bond quests and duel and... try to actually enjoy the game.

Thankfully, I copied the huge list of what was needed to complete the quest...

From The fate of the Cunninghams (The list):

Sheriff John Fitzburn: Good morning Helen Back! I hope you slept well. There is plenty to get and you should ride out the latest in a week! Otherwise I do not know what happened ... So hurry up! Hint: You should finish this quest within 7 days, so you reach the farm of Cunningham's even before the attack of the Indians.

Requires:
Donkey 1/1 (Done)
Mustang 1/1 (Done)
Arabian 1/1 (Done)
Tool box 0/2
Sledge hammer 3/5
Hammer 2/5
Nails 7/20
Wood 3/40
Spade 5/5 (Done)
Pickaxe 0/3
Lasso 0/10
Roll of cloth 4/6
Saw 0/4
Granite blocks 7/20
Spike 1/10

Notice that the majority of the items needed for this quest are also needed for crafting as well as the Daily Bond quests. Do we get our horses back? Or are they gone like the Pony to Thomas (Soldier Quest)?

So I have a couple questions.... Since I cancelled the quest and it's no longer available to me... Is this a Time Specific quest that has to be started on a certain day? Or if I cancelled it does that mean I've forced the Cunningham's to suffer their fate?
:hmpf:

IF you only get one crack at this quest... the 7 days as specified... There should be a warning that if you cancel the quest, you will not be able to accept it again.

Also, if you are allowed to accept the quest again when the special day comes around again (if that's the case)... will the timer start again? Or will the Indians get their first? Or maybe there isn't a timer at all and you're just trying to stress us all out over a bunch of pixels on a screen........

Hmm, is there any reason why a lot of the daily quests at Waupee's village and the ghost town got removed? Or is this a bug? Please explain, since if this is on purpose it just got a whole lot harder again to get the ostrich.

..very good question.
Half of my pre-fulfilled quests (saved for the daily tasks on days when I can't manage to complete the saloon quests) are invalid now :(

I'm surprised this didn't happen earlier. The daily quests are grouped by level range so that it's not too easy nor too difficult for any given range but that it still represents a challenge to fulfill the individual daily quest requirement (for the non-dueler) as well as continuing to fulfill the Ostrich requirement. It follows with the level range assignment that is given to the other daily quests and although I'm not a huge fan of this limitation, I do see it as being more fair and balanced in the playing of the game.

I originally reported it as a possible bug but changed it to a UDF (UnDocumented Feature) at http://forum.westbeta.innogames.de/project.php?issueid=1748

killado said:
Im level 120 and only have 6 on the Indian Village.
Repeatable quests (Rounds)
Repeatable quests (A lot of snakes)
Repeatable quests (Puma hunt)
Repeatable quests (Curing salt)
Repeatable quests (Lead jewellery)
Repeatable quests (Better Moonshine)

And 8 on the Ghost Town:
Repeatable quests (A new star)
Repeatable quests (Looter)
Repeatable quests (New game, new luck)
Repeatable quests (Give and take)
Repeatable quests (News from the town)
Repeatable quests (Do you have what it takes)
Repeatable quests (Casino founding)
Repeatable quests (Guard)

So these are the ones for people between levels 81 and 120. Which is still 14 additional daily quests plus the 4 daily plus the crafting quest (.5) which occurs every other day (48 hours), so you still effectively have 18.5 daily quests per day ... and yes it's going to still take a long time to get your Ostrich, especially if you didn't start doing the daily quests until you knew there was a substantial reward for doing so.

I agree

yeah, that's a nasty one, I've cancelled it too today, but it's still available, maybe I'll re-accept after all...
anyway, I'm not sure it's possible to gather all products in 7 days even if one bought some of them on the market
I dislike it too because it leaves no time for daily quests

we no likeeee :(

Little opinion about update:)

This update gave Us Beautiful graphic and some new Quests.
Now TW have perfect graphic, but is it something new?

Graphic is just graphic, people will not looking into Skills for one hour,if You want gain new players you need something really new.

Now TW player can be worker, dueler, fortfighter and Craftsman.
Is it lot?

On one world I have 120 level, all quests are finished, fortbattles in this world are dead,so I'm dueler. But that's boring and I have no motivation to playing...

I suggest you think about something new,not new map,or other graphic, but something like fort battles, that was perfect idea and we need something like that...

On Polish forum you can see lots of good ideas from players,on other versions of TW You'll find more,You should just think about it...

The graphics of Bannister's colt should be changed imo, right now it looks almost exactly like a rusty peacemaker and players might sell it by miss take.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Apparently 120 fort fighters aren't allowed to do daily quests any more.

Work as a sheriff (all of my FFs can do)
Chasing bandits (same of course)
Ambush (one with higher hiding than most can do it)
Construct a casino (all of my FFs)

That leaves gambler, merchant, rodeo, and marshal which aren't at all suited for fort builds, or any strength build (fort fighter, builder, melee dueler). The Waupee's village quests are even worse.

I really can't understand the back and forth on this. 1k daily quests has gone from incredibly difficult, to pretty easy (I've gotten two ostriches since 1.35), and now it's back to incredibly difficult.

It's not enough that we had to WARP to the ghost town every day to do our daily quests between fort battles, now we only get FOUR quests when we warp there? I guess we can all stop wasting nuggets on daily quests.

Why don´t you just reduce the map to 2 counties? Travelling 5 hours in a regular world just for one or two quests at the village or the ghost town doesn´t make any sense at all and is pretty unfair to anyone not living close to one of the two locations!
If you want to make the ostrich more difficult, change the "product" quests to "work" quests, that way every player hast to work on the daily quests on his own and can´t use slaves or the market to get him/her the products for the daily quests at the village or the ghost town.

I must agree with elmyr. A significant strategic element has been removed from the game. For example when I switched to full FMS on world 1 I moved close to ghost town because there is easier daily quests available there. I see no need to change anything with that. Also the strategically minded may I have gathered a mass of items I myself had worked out a formula for 20 daily quests a day and completing the ostrich in 20 days. Others would have done this. So why the hell peeve players of more.

I shouldn't have even said "pretty easy". 1k daily quests still took a lot of dedication, like Jakkals' 20 per day plan. If every daily quest gave bonds I could see limiting how many we could do, but just to hobble those of us seeking ostriches or the achievement itself?

I have to agree. This change with the daily quests is bad news. It already takes ages to get an ostrich. Please return this to the way it used to be.

the Cunninghams Quest sucks

the Cunninghams' fate is sealed - 7 days passed and I hadn't gathered the ridiculous amount of unworthy items and I've failed the quest
and now what? that's it?

THE CUNNINGHAMS' QUEST SUCKS

Hmm, you have a time limitation to fulfill the quest? I find that very interesting. :) Though the amount of products needed is a bit too high, yes.

There's no cooldown to do it again. As soon as you cancel you can accept it again, as long as you meet the time req.
